Greg is a native of Ishpeming, MI, where he attended the parish of St. Pius X and served at the altar there until its closing. During that time the Holy Spirit formed in him a lasting love for the Catholic Church as the Body of Christ. He went on to graduate from Northern Michigan University with a BS in Industrial Technology and became a part of St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette. At St. Peter Cathedral Greg’s faith was deeply enriched, in large part due to many years of keeping a weekly hour of Eucharistic Adoration and involvement in the Men’s Ministry. He and his wife Shawna were married there, and one of the great joys of his life was helping her and others come to the Church through the RCIA. He is passionate about the Faith, and seeks to help make the Church a welcoming haven for all to find comfort in the Truth and Love of our Lord Jesus.
Greg has served in quality management leadership roles in the medical device industry for over 15 years. In addition to many years in Marquette, his profession has taken him to live and work abroad, including residency in Lugano, Switzerland and Utrecht, The Netherlands. Greg is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence. He approaches business management as a vocation through which service to the Lord is manifest in the betterment of lives and spreading the joy of the Gospel.
